4-7-8 breath prayers

tip: each breath prayer is the length for:

inhaling: four counts

holding: seven counts

exhaling: eight counts

1 sit in a comfortable position with a neutral spine

2 drop shoulders away from ears

3 relax jaw, unclinch teeth

4 release any tension in face and upper body

5 breathe air into belly, like a balloon, expand navel out, hold

6 exhale, draw navel in toward spine, hold

7 repeat
